Who are we?

We are a small group of volunteers who believe in the importance of helping others to reach their literacy goals. READ Surrey/White Rock is a registered charity.

Our Mission

We raise awareness of literacy challenges and help people develop literacy skills necessary to improve their life opportunities.

Our Values

How we help literacy

Provide one-to-one tutoring for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, and math.
Increase awareness on literacy and essential skills by creating a public presence and by taking part in public events.
Partner with community organizations to increase literacy for all people.
Facilitate the Surrey White Rock Literacy Task Group.
