We are a small group of volunteers who believe in the importance of helping others to reach their literacy goals. READ Surrey/White Rock is a registered BC Society.
Our Mission
We work within our communities to raise awareness of literacy challenges and to help people develop literacy skills necessary to meet their goals and improve their quality of life.
How we help literacy
Provide one-to-one tutoring for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, and math.
Increase awareness on literacy and essential skills by creating a public presence and by taking part in public events.
Partner with community organizations to increase literacy for all people.
Facilitate the Surrey White Rock Literacy Task Group.
